The Miracle House is a nonprofit organization, established in July, 2015. Countless numbers of women have benefited from our services. We provide food, basic necessities, life-skills and a safe, loving, home-like atmosphere.

A Message From The Founder

It all started with a desire to serve... 

Hello, my name is Renee Klein. Born a Queens-girl, but raised on Long Island. I've lived in Freeport for over 35 years, married to my best friend for 30 years, and we have a beautiful son who is my heart. Family and their love is my true foundation, but for me and my story, that wasn't enough to keep me from a life that ultimately drugs and alcohol had destroyed. The family that raised me couldn't help me and the family I was given to raise wasn't able to help me either. But what I do believe is that love- God's love, is what saved me. And that word love, for me is an action word. It was the hands of others, these acts of kindness, which others had shown and given me in my brokenness. These things have stirred something inside of me that has given me an unexplainable desire to help others, suffering like I had once suffered. My experience of darkness can now be used for hope and light in the lives of others.

So we have this house... The Miracle House... God's house.

This incredible home where we are helping women who are hopeless, broken and desperately seeking a new way of life. 

It takes an army and lots of resources to help them. It takes the love of others, their kindness, prayers and generosity. 

Our hope is that others are inspired by our mission and will want to join us in helping women and their families grow in freedom of addiction and alcoholism.
